About Peggy

For the past year, Peggy has been an absolutely amazing nanny to our son, S. She started with us when he was 5 months old and the only reason she is looking for another role is because he will be starting daycare soon - we would have loved to keep Peggy for many, many more years! As a first-time mom, my #1 priority was to find someone who could love S while my husband and I were at work and boy, did we get that with Peggy. She brings warmth and love every day. Even during our initial meeting, she immediately joined him on his playmat to interact with him. Our parenting values are child-led, respectful parenting, with Montessori sprinkled in and Peggy has been able to fit into our family perfectly. I'm also, at times, a very picky mom :-) and Peggy has adapted super well to any of our asks. She is very responsive to his needs and supportive of his development in terms of keeping a nap schedule, baby-led weaning / starting solids, and incorporating music and activities into his day-to-day. Peggy also brings little personal touches like always remembering milestones like "month" birthdays. She incorporates movement and new experiences into daily schedule, without any screen time, by going to nearby parks, the Thinkery, playing outside, and teaching S songs. S has really connected with her, he is happy to see her everyday! She has taught him so much even as an infant: clapping, waving, knowing his name, and singing. In terms of professionalism, she is excellent with her communication, providing live updates and photos during the day and beginning the week by checking in on how the weekend went. She is punctual and communicates well in advance for any PTO. She is a safe driver and we were happy to have her and S go to nearby activities in the car. To be honest, I could not imagine a better nanny for S than Peggy, we have been so lucky to hit the lottery with Peggy and I know her next nanny family will be extremely lucky to have Peggy.
