Thank you for taking the time to consider this review. Peggy began her employment caring for my elderly mother in 2017. At that time, she was experiencing moderate dementia vision issues, and among other medical problems had become a fall risk. Peggy‘s care was compassionate and professional. Mother’s frailty increased over the years, the care and attentiveness was adjusted to her increasing needs, demonstrating Peggy’s advanced care skills and management abilities. She was always reliable and vigilant, keeping Mother happy and safe. The basic caregiver role expanded to include not only managing medication’s and treatments, meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility assistance, but went on to include help with new staff hiring , training and scheduling. Her excellent background and training is demonstrated by years of meticulous , medication management, caregiver notes concerning everything from tracking vitals, fluid intake, updated notes concerning changed instructions, symptoms , relevant issues during her shift. Appropriate direct communicate and instruction on shift changes. She is a true professional She always made herself available to answer questions . After Mother’ death in 2023, Peggy’s time was dedicated to caring for my Father ( 98). His medical issues were complex, and compounded by his blindness, dementia, and extreme grief over his wife death. Peggy gently instructed the entire family on how to help keep him calm, from becoming agitated, ways to speak with him that would make the situation more positive, and encourage the use of humor, music and football to keep him engaged. Peggy worked for the family until my father‘s passing in 2026. Throughout her years of employment, she has demonstrated advanced skills in various areas of elder care, and her general knowledge has come into play many times. Her dedication and love for those in her care is unwavering and respect and preservation of their dignity through this chapter of life is unique. She is excellent.
