About Pearl

I actually do not have any paid experience helping to take care of old folks, but I have spent lots of time with them. My grandma has dementia and I have been helping take care of her for the last couple of years. In addition to that, my grandpa died several years ago of Parkinson's disease, and while he was alive I spent lots of time helping to take care of him. I think that it is so important and a wonderful opportunity to get to spend time with those of older generations. Always something to be learned or gained, or a good story to hear. In my past experiences with senior citizens, I have helped clean for them, cook for them, helped them with daily activities such as getting up from their chair, and getting dressed, driving to appointments and picking up, and any other errands they've needed me to run for them. I am capable of learning anything, care wise, and very adaptable in situations.
