About Payton

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching approach. I am currently pursuing my AA in Elementary Education and provide homeschool support for elementary students. I focus on building confidence rather than simple memorization and adapt my approach to each student's individual learning style. I enjoy using visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions to make learning engaging and easier to understand. When a concept feels challenging, I try to connect it to the student's interests to encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a genuine love of learning. I also believe clear, consistent communication with parents is an important part of creating a supportive environment where students can grow. Seeing that aha! moment when a difficult concept finally clicks is one of the most rewarding parts of supporting students. I look forward to helping your child reach their academic goals while building confidence along the way!
