About Payton

Hello! My name is Payton and I am 25 years old from Torrington, CT. I have two dogs and work full-time for the CT Judicial Branch. I also work part-time as a Regional 911 Dispatcher and a Wedding Catering Coordinator. Learning alongside students brings me joy! I create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment, empowering students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I actively listen and observe to understand individual learning styles. By connecting challenging topics to real-world examples, I keep students motivated. Communication is essential for understanding student needs and building trust. I hold a college degree and can assist with Math, Science, Psychology, Test Preparation, and Study Skills at various levels. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I am CPR and First Aid trained. I'm eager to share my enthusiasm for learning and help you succeed!
