I have worked in a senior living setting ever since I was 15, I worked in the kitchen serving and chatting with the elderly for a few years until I decided to work more hands on as an aid, after a couple of years loving my job working in a memory care unit I experienced some burnout and worked the front desk for a little while but quickly learned that working hands on with the elderly is what makes me happiest and makes me feel like I have more of a purpose.
