Hello, my name is Barb. I have a genuine heart for working with children, especially those with special needs. I have experience caring for children on the autism spectrum, and I approach each child with patience, understanding, and compassion. Growing up, my cousin was autistic, which gave me early, personal insight into how to communicate with love, consistency, and respect for each child's unique world. This experience shaped my ability to stay calm, attentive, and supportive in different situations. In addition, I worked with a wonderful family in The Woodlands area, caring for their 9-year-old daughter. Through this role, I provided attentive care, engaged in meaningful activities, and supported her daily routine in a safe and nurturing environment. I truly believe every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and understood. I bring warmth, patience, and a gentle approach to every family I work with. I am CPR and First Aid certified.
