About Paul

Hi! I'm a Math tutor whose teaching experience has ranged from teaching review classes in Linear Algebra at Vassar College to helping grade school and high school students with their homework or test preparation. Many people find math to be a much harder subject to relate to than say English or History because it can be so technical and foreign. I find that each student has a unique way of being able to understand Mathematical subjects and systems. My position, as I see it, is to discover that learning style so that students can connect with the material on an institutional level thereby being able to perform well on homework assignments and tests while establishing solid foundational knowledge to move forward with. I extend this same teaching philosophy to tutoring physics, and giving guitar lessons!
