About Paulette

I began working with children at 14 through tutoring, community programs like Guadalupe Tutor Corps, and caring for younger family members. Now, at 19, I work at Growing Room, where I assist with classroom activities, supervise students, and support children's social and emotional growth. Within a couple months, I was recognized as Teacher of the Month and earned DCF certifications, including CPR and Sleep Safe Certification for infants. As a floater, I worked with newborns, infants, toddlers, and VPK students, which has strengthened my adaptability, patience, and communication skills. In my spare time, I enjoy arts and crafts, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, exploring new places, and reading. I value creating safe, supportive, and caring environments where children feel comfortable and encouraged.
