I have taught elementary school in the public schools in Massachusetts and Florida. I have also taught at a private school in Florida. I taught grades 1, 3, and 4. Additionally, I was an instructor for a GED program in Florida. I helped to prepare students to pass the GED in Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. Currently, I tutor privately students-in Pre-K through Grade 11 (the high schooler was enrolled in Florida Virtual, and I have tutored her with all subjects for the past three years, this last semester she earned a 4. 0 GPA) and through the government scholarship Step-Up for students. I also train all the substitutes for Manatee County Public Schools every Tuesday morning. My high school student completed her course work early this school year, so, I find myself with 15 free hours that I would like to fill.
