About Paula

As well as being a therapeutic foster parent in the past, I have worked in two group homes for children ages 2 to 17 who were abandoned and or special emotional needs. I flourished in this environment as I myself came from a difficult early childhood and my heart longed to make and be the difference to every precious child and teenager who I cared for emotionally and physically. I have a huge heart toward them and feel so rewarded being apart of thier healing. I also have worked with two elderly clients, one as a hospice aide and one as a compassionate companion and direct care provider of a loved one for two years as they struggled with dementia and COPD, anxiety. Such a rewarding life! Being a life line when others were very bust with work and family, they were assured that my ex mother in law was being cared for with mercy and love , compassion.. the way we all wish to be cared for in the fragile years when life is slowing down.
