After we spoke to the applicant on the phone, she agreed to show up this morning and she did not call. She did not text back. There was zero communication after she agreed to take the job. We did not hire her for both days because she had found someone for Tuesday and did not pay her through Care.com because I couldn’t modify the job. We have several text messages confirming that she would be here this morning and even if there was an emergency, you can call you can text.
