About Paula

Hello! It is lovely to meet you. I'm Paula (also known as Poppins) and I have tons of experience with kids. Not only did I successfully guide my 3 boys to adulthood, I have been also a special education teacher, a nanny, a published children's author and even a radio personality with Radio Disney. There isn't a kid out there that I can't reach. Here are some of the things your kids and I might do together: -Nature walks, bike riding and fort building . -Blanket tents, writing books, telling stories and lots of poetry -Building stuff, inventing, and coding robots (learning to code myself) -Arts, crafts and crazy creativity -Watching and making movies -Making the best pizza ever -Sewing, knitting and making the greatest costumes you've ever seen and much more. Of course, there is always responsibility, homework, chores and the like. Poppins always insists on that first. I'm available for occasional sitting, part-time and full-time. I am also open to a live-in position, if that is what you need. I'm also great with elders and pooches. I do have language experience with French, Spanish, ASL and some Kinyarwanda and Swahii but I am very rusty. It would be fantastic to be in a multicultural/lingual family and practice. I have been to Argentina, Chile, Rwanda and India and have great stories and pictures. This is why being a nanny is so great for me. I'm not interested in a house or stuff. I like to save my money to live out of my backpack and travel. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. I did have First Aid/CPR which is now expired. I am scheduled to take the class later in December.
