About Paula

I am an active 65-year-old who has lived in the Greater Sedona area for 30 years. I have served my community as a school founder, family music program director and Sedona Youth & Family Commissioner. My success in tutoring stems from first assessing a student's learning process: dyslexic, kinetic, visual/spatial, auditory...? I am a Learning Coach. No matter what the subject, the learning experience will not be effective if it is not personalized. No matter how young or old, when the student can address the way they process information they will begin to feel in control and discover the joy of learning. This motivates and clarifies the educational journey and we celebrate the results. The student must feel respected and honored with patience and a genuine desire from the tutor to put the whole student as a priority.
