About Paula

I have been fortunate enough to care for my 97-year-old mother for the past 3 years. She has dementia, so I am quite familiar with handling it. I also am sharing companionship with a friends mother, who is in the beginning stages of dementia. I truly enjoy my time with both. I am comfortable taking them out for errands, Dr. appointments and sometimes just a ride, to get out of the house. I play games, watch tv, do some exercises and take walks if possible. I make meals as necessary, and can help with showers and dressing. I am very patient and feel fortunate to be able to brighten peoples day. I have always had great respect and passion for the elderly. I worked in customer service for 30 plus years, so I know how to please people. I am currently working part time in retail and would like to be able to give two week notice, prior to leaving.
