About Patty

Hello! I'm a warm, experienced caregiver with a lifelong passion for children. Married, mother of three, grandmother to seven, and great-grandmother to two. My journey started in 1976 at a daycare center. In 1980 I opened my own daycare in Portland, Oregon. After moving to Los Osos, CA, I ran it for over 10 years, then provided in-home care for many families. I also worked as a house cleaner. I helped raise my grandchildren and from 2010 cared full-time for my sister (deaf with mobility and health issues) until her recent passing. Now I'm excited to return to childcare. I specialize in infants and toddlers - reading, singing, playing games, and creating a loving, fun environment. I'm patient, reliable, and energetic. I enjoy tennis, hiking, camping, reading, and travel. I bring decades of experience, warmth, and dedication to your family. I'd be honored to care for your children!
