About Patty

Helping students to feel good about themselves and to love learning is the core of my teaching practice. With a multiple degrees and 32 years of experience as a public school teacher and private tutor, I specialize in creating supportive environments where students feel safe and nurtured while learning. I hold certifications in Elementary Ed (K-6,) Reading (K-12) and Students with Disabilites. Whether we are tackling math, reading , or study skills, I prioritize building confidence and having fun while learning. I actively observe how each student processes new information, using visual aids and hands-on activities to keep lessons engaging. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating small wins, I ensure that learning is stress-free. Communication with parents is a priority.
