As a young adult, I was a zoo keeper and have been a lifelong animal lover. I am a certified dog trainer and have cared for many types of animals from mammals, avians, to reptiles. Animals are very intuitive and very quickly feel comfortable and safe in my presence. I have deep understanding of animal psychology and behavior and adjust according to the individual circumstances, personality, and needs, while also honoring the owners wishes. I'm looking for a job that gives the opportunity to make a real difference not only in the lives of the pets, but also to provide peace of mind and comfort to the pet owners. My skills include: 1. Animal handling and care knowledge, including pet behavior, body language, and basic health and enrichment needs. 2. Administering medications, feeding schedules, and basic grooming routines. 3. Recognizing signs of distress, illness, or injury and responding appropriately.
