Between Christmas and New Year's (2022) our 86 year old father (J) was released into in home hospice. His 84 year old wife (G) has her own health issues and none of us have any nursing skills and all of us were kind shell shocked by the rapidly deteriorating situation. When Patty walked in for her first shift, she met a hectic scene: J was agitated, had pulled out his catheter, and was trying to get out of his hospital bed. Patty calmly took control. Since J passed, Patty has continued to provide in-home companionship to G, including take her to the library or doctor appts or shopping. She has the right low key personality for G-and she is genuinely caring and compassionate and communicative with the family. And the house has never been this clean before!
