I have been enjoying home health visits post licensing as of 2016. Two Houston agencies have arranged care giving opportunities in home and geriatric facilities. While interacting with my clients I have excellent communication using effective listening, observing body language instilling trust in them. I know how to quickly build rapport, empathize with the needs and attitudes of the elderly especially dementia. I am very patient and currently take care of my mother-in-law with daily living activities. I am an excellent companion practicing Tai Chi, walking outdoors, and conversing. I am effective in domestic chores. I was a certified First Responder for 6 years on offshore oil rigs where a lot of potential for injury is present.
