About Patricia

Hello! I am 22 years old and one of 12 children. I love outdoor activities such as hiking, but I also love all types of arts and crafts. I love writing and telling stories, be those stories I have made up or those I read them from books. I am currently enrolled in an online program to become a postpartum doula. Prior to that I completed all the prerequisites for nursing. I decided becoming a doula was more for me before applying to the nursing program. I have volunteered at Texas Children's Hospital in the summer in both the Women's Pavilion and the Children's Hospital. I used to teach children how to rock climb as well as volunteer to read to Pre K. I have nannied full and part time for multiple families over the last seven years. 6 of those years were spent with the same two families. I have my own car and I am CPR/First aid certified.

Patricia was our part-time nanny twice a week from March to May 2023. She is extremely responsible, caring, and trustworthy. Patricia connected with our daughter as she made her light up when she arrived. She followed our daughter's schedule and recorded important time-stamps throughout the day (e.g. nap times). My husband and I felt very comfortable leaving our infant with Patricia and highly recommend her! Although we are returning to daycare in the fall, we will still keep in contact with Patricia for future babysitting needs!
