I have 10+ years as a senior caregiver and I love the work that I do! I have worked in private homes as respite overnight care as well as over night caregiver in retirement/assisted living facilities. I prefer serving clients on the weekends and holidays which seems to be the most quiet times for seniors. But in those times I have been encouraged to create joyful moments for the ones I serve. I am familiar with many daily tasks: transfers, medication reminders, bathing, cooking and feeding. I find serving others a learning experience for myself also.
