About Rain

Hi, I'm Rain! I've worked with kids professionally for 10+ years and truly enjoy it. I bring fun, creativity, and structure to every day-whether it's crafts, outdoor play, or storytime. I'm a retired Army veteran, single mom, and future kindergarten teacher, so I value trust, routine, and a positive attitude. I also offer breastfeeding support based on 2 years of personal experience. I'll be in Alaska until summer 2026 (possibly leaving as early as May 2026), so I'd love to connect with a family who needs consistent, reoccurring care from October through May. That said, I'm also open to occasional or one-time care when you need an extra hand. Single parents-need a break? I'm happy to help without guilt; it really does take a village. Preteen/teen parents-I'm also open to chaperoning activities and events. Bonus: I offer optional Field Trip Days where my time is free-you just cover the child's activity and meal.
