Pat was our full time nanny for almost 3 years, from April 2017 when our son had just turned 1, until January 2020, when our son was almost 4 and our daughter was 19 months. Everyone was very sad when Pat has to take some time off from nannying for personal reasons, which have recently been resolved. Both of my kids love her like a grandparent, and she loves them too. Pat is great with toddlers, but she is especially good with babies. She took both kids to the park every day, or to the library or indoor play places if it was too hot or raining. She cooked three meals a day for them, gave them baths, made sure they napped, and had a straightened house by the time we got home. She knew all of the neighbors and a bunch of other nannies at the local parks, and would arrange to meet up with other kids the same age as ours at the park so that they could play. We were always hearing from neighbors or even strangers what a wonderful nanny we have, and we were so grateful to have her. Now we are going to send our kids to preschool, so she is available for another lucky family.
