About Patricia

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, honest, and creative. I like working with kids because they see the world in a completely different way. They are curious about everything and love to learn. As the daughter of two educators I know the importance of teaching. I graduated high school with a 4. 6 GPA and received the First Team All-Academic Award several times during my years as a collegiate basketball player. Another thing about me is I can speak Mandarin Chinese. I have been learning the language for a little over seven years and have been to China twice. I attended Texas Christian University where I minored in Chinese studies and worked a STARTALK language camp, which is a federal grant program managed and funded by the National Security Agency. Aside from Mandarin, I can help with a variety of subjects. Math, language arts, history, and science are all subjects that I can help your child with!
