My family and I have been active in the PSC for 26+ years. I have been caring for pets professionally since childhood. Also, I have worked closely with the AS and the CDR rehabbing any injured animals including wolves, coyotes, birds of prey, reptiles and domestic pets as well. I most recently cared for a diabetic schnauzer for the last 9 years until she passed a month ago and am looking for a new pet project.

I have been reluctant to leave Zoe, my 10-yr old min-pin with someone who isn't a close friend or family, but this limited my availability for travel. I was impressed by Patricia's profile on Care.com and decided to interview her. We talked for an hour or so, and I knew she was the one! Patricia volunteered to bring her two dogs to a dog park near my home, which I found remarkably generous. They did indeed come, and they stayed for an hour and a half! The visit went smoothly. On my travel day, Patricia picked Zoe up from our house, another 30-mile round trip for her, and I was able to drive away for my 2-night trip feeling confident. that Zoe was in great hands. Patricia has a deep, intuitive approach with animals, and an impressive knowledge of dog psychology. When I returned, it was to a very relaxed and happy Zoe! I look forward to an upcoming week away with excitement, knowing that Zoe will be in Patricia's loving, expert care.
