About Patrice

We hired Patrice for my Mother. Mother needed meals prepared for her, assistance for a shower, laundry and bedding washed, clothes set out for her to wear, and assistance to go outside to sit. The first day Patrice came I was unable to be at Mom's house to give her an orientation. When I arrived later I found Patrice had put together lunch for Mom and they were talking. I appreciated the initiative and confidence Patrice had to get things going. Mom also wanted her privacy and space which Patrice allowed and would gently ask Mom if she needed anything. She would bring out lunch ie. a tuna fish sandwich, fruit, some cookies and a drink outside as Mom loved sitting outside watching people walking or birds in the yard. To find a caregiver who fits with one's family member is a gift. Mom eventually would invite Patrice to join her in the family room and to watch TV with her. They would chat. Mom was also receiving PT and OT and Patrice initiated for Mom to practice the exercise given. We all wanted Mom to keep moving. Patrice is respectful, patient, responsible, kind, initiated to do things, on time, watched for Mom's safety and I believe was a very good fit for Mom. Most importantly, Patrice communicated well with Mom as well as with me. I recommend Patrice as a Caregiver
