About Patience

Hi! I'd love to share a bit about my background. I've been working as a nanny for nearly five years now, both part-time and full-time, and I've gained a lot of hands-on experience caring for children between the ages of 6 and 11. In addition to nannying, I've served as a helper in children's ministry, working with daycare and preschool-aged kids, and I also have three years of experience as a camp counselor. I'm very comfortable keeping children engaged, active, and safe in a variety of settings. I'm also the oldest of six children, so caregiving has been a big part of my life from an early age. I played a vital role in helping raise my siblings--especially my baby sister--which really shaped my ability to be patient, nurturing, and dependable. When I'm with kids, I love to keep things fun and creative! I enjoy baking with them, doing arts and crafts, and planning recreational activities that keep them active and learning in a playful way.
