I am a very active and young grandmother who is looking to care for a child/children any age. I just moved to Texarkana from DC. I have a lot of experience and have been sitting for more than 20yrs. I love children & teach religious to third graders & work in a school cafeteria. I have sat for weddings, parties and events where there were multiple children. Pat watched our 2 year old and 3 month old daughters for a couple of months. She was kind and responsive. Our 2 year old warmed up to her immediately. We would contact her again if she was in our area.

Pat recently watched our 10 month old daughter for the first time on relatively short notice (2 weeks). She was delightful and very knowledgeable. We definitely left our daughter in good hands and would love for Pat to babysit again soon. Highly recommend.

Pat participated in a nanny share for our infant daughter and a neighbor's infant daughter with special needs. Pat was fantastic at caring for the girls, she was able to prioritize their needs appropriately and give them both the attention they needed.

I have hired Ms. Pat to watch my toddler twins on many occasions and she is now my go-to sitter. She's flexible, she's kind, and the girls have a blast with her. She follows directions and doesn't often need assistance while I'm at. I'd keep her on permanently if my family wasn't moving overseas!

We hired Pat to watch children during the reception of our wedding. She was so wonderful! She watched multiple kids of all ages for multiple different sets of parents. The kids had a great time with her! Thanks, Pat!

Pat watches our 5 year old and 1.5 year old and they absolutely love her, she quickly established a strong rapport with them and they're always excited to see her. She is a delight to work with and we feel so lucky to have found her. She is very reliable and is always thinking about fun things to do with the kids to keep them continuously engaged.

I would highly recommend Pat as a babysitter. Pat did a fantastic job taking care of our rambunctious 10 month old. Despite being a pandemic baby, he was very comfortable with her straight away and had a great time playing with her outside, going on a walk with her in the stroller, and reading tons of books. Pat did a great job feeding and changing him. She has a sweet and outgoing personality and knew exactly what to do to help out.

Pat has been watching our 1 year old (now 18 month old) for six months, consistently and weekly since last August. Some days Pat cared for both our kids. In this pandemic year Pat's dependability and availability to our family has been a life saver. She's always on time and here for us. Our youngest was always happy when we came home, napped, fed, and our kitchen clean; they go for walks daily when the weather is nice, play outside and in, play songs and child-led play, and stay low key. Pat is a wonderful cook and has brought over extra lasagna and Christmas cookies, and always can figure out what to feed our kids with whatever is in the house. Our daughter has consistency in her care which has helped make her a happy and mellow toddler.

Pat was wonderful! She was on time and flexible about her schedule, even though she lived an hour away. We were so grateful she watched our son!

Pat was a great sitter for my 10-year-old son! She was flexible, punctual, and had a great idea of bonding over pizza for their first visit. She was also really accommodating for a same-day request, which was so helpful. We have hired her once and look forward to having her back soon. Thanks Pat!

Pat was very easy to work with, very respectful of COVID-19 regulations and had a lot of good ideas for fun things to do with two little boys. Would definitely hire her again!

Pat sat for our girls while we were in Hudson for a night out with friends. Our girls were asleep when Pat arrived but Pat was calm and kind and I'd definitely hire her again

We were in town visiting family and the babysitter we had lined up canceled on us only hours before she was supposed to arrive. When I posted on Care.com Pat came to our rescue... and boy was she amazing!  She arrived right on time and was an instantly calming presence. Our son loved her and she kept him right on schedule, while also checking in to let us know that he was safe and well cared for.  We will definitely be calling Pat on our next visit!

Pat cared for our kids while we were visiting Hudson, NY for a wedding. The kids had a great time with her. She entertained them, fed them dinner, and got them all to bed happy. She also did a great job caring for our son with Type 1 diabetes and helped him get his insulin when needed. I highly recommend her!

Our son was asleep before we had Pat arrive for her first night with us and even though she hadn't met him yet her intuitions and care were spot on since he woke up crying while we were gone. He's only two so he doesn't speak all the well but she thought to get him a drink and even stayed in with him rubbing his back til he fell asleep again. The next night she had him a good portion of the day until the evening and it was as if she was part of the family. He took to her right away and had no problems whatsoever with us leaving. Highly recommend and trust Pat!

We were visiting upstate New York for a wedding and hired Pat to watch our eight-month-old daughter on both Friday and Saturday nights. Pat was WONDERFUL. She was warm and funny and my daughter quickly took to her. She handled all the typical duties - playtime, bathtime, feeding, changing, etc. - with very little guidance needed from me. My daughter typically sleeps through the night and when she unexpectedly woke up, Pat easily calmed her and got her right back to bed. We came home to a happy and well-rested baby. Pat even had the presence of mind to run outside and bring our stroller in when it started raining. I felt completely at ease leaving my baby with Pat, and if we're ever in the area again, we will most definitely ask her to babysit.
