About Parris

We had the absolute pleasure of having Parris care for our daughter starting when she was about 20 months old (now 26 months), and more recently, she’s been helping with our infant son as well. From the very beginning, she’s been a true gift to our family. She is incredibly kind, patient, creative & always goes the extra mile to make each day special and enriching. With her background in teaching, she brings thoughtful learning activities and structure to the day. Our daughter enjoyed daily outings to libraries, parks, and nature centers — a wonderful rotation that kept her curious and active. We’re a no-TV show or tablet family, and Parris fully embraced that, keeping both kids engaged through books, coloring, painting, and imaginative play. She also played a huge role in helping with potty training and supporting our daughter as she navigated big toddler emotions, all with grace and encouragement. She’s an excellent communicator and always kept our home clean and organized, even taking initiative with light household tasks. Most importantly, she truly became part of our extended family. Our children adore her, and we always felt completely at ease knowing they were in her care. We can’t recommend Parris highly enough — any family would be lucky to have her!
