I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant and trained Medical Aide with 5 years of experience providing compassionate care in long-term care settings. I have extensive experience working with individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's disease, including managing related behaviors with patience and understanding. Skilled in personal care, mobility assistance, wound care, medication administration and management, blood sugar monitoring, and insulin administration. I am dependable, attentive, and committed to creating a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment while monitoring overall wellbeing and following care plans. I also provide meaningful companionship and emotional support and am comfortable assisting with light housekeeping, meal support, and maintaining daily routines. I am willing to renew CPR/First Aid certification if requested. I will be starting nursing school in the fall and am passionate about continuing my career in healthcare and service.
