About Pansy

When my mom became ill after a stroke and dementia she was sent to a nursing home. After being there a month I realized that she was declining terrible and would be better served by being at home. I contacted Home Care and hired a full time nursing aide. As time went on I had to learn to care for her myself when the aide was not there. After doing this I decided to go back to school and get my H. H. A. This experience made me realize how fulfilling it is to be able to help the elderly in their own homes as not to force them to live in an assisted living facility. This has become my calling. Work gives me great satisfaction knowing that I have helped the elderly or a sick patient to stay in their home surrounded by their family and friends. My interest and past experience in helping people to be able to feel comfortable with me as one of their family. I strive to get to know my patient on a personal level in order to make them feel at ease.
