About Pamela

Hello! I have adult caretaking experience with clients with Parkinson's, dementia, TBI, and mobility needs. I also do housekeeping tasks and even light yardwork. I am meticulous and thorough. I worked with older people in nursing homes when I was a speech-language pathologist (SLP) and understand their challenges and needs. I had experience with my own mother who developed dementia and eventually had a stroke and a heart attack. My education, training, and experience with older adults helped me understand, help, and love her more than ever as she declined. I am compassionate, kind, and gentle. I have a great sense of humor and get along with everyone. I have many years of dealing successfully with difficult people while I was a public transit bus driver. While working at a special needs private school as an SLP, I had CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training and have also been CPR and First Aid certified.
