About Pamela

I have always been a caregiver. My mother was struck with a ankylosing spondylitis with the bamboo back. The last 15 years of her life, she suffered with a horrible case of Parkinson's. My dad suffered vascular dementia, along with Alzheimer's. I was a single working mother who still spent every moment I could helping them when they lived alone. The last three years of their life I moved them in with me. Never would I put them in a nursing home. To be honest, it was a rough period but I'll never regret being there until the day they died with me holding their hand.
