About Pamela

I have 10+ years of child care experience with ages ranging from newborn to 12. I hold a master's degree in mental health counseling and for the past 5 years have worked as a mental health clinician for children and teens with trauma. Prior to that I was a full time nanny for over 5 years, and have been babysitting as a side job for 20 years. Most of my nanny experience is with ages 3 and under, but I have worked with children of all age groups. I am very comfortable with newborns and have supported families with overnight care and sleep training. I have recently moved to the Portland area and am looking to get back into nannying full time. I am currently assisting my sister with my 18-month-old niece while I look for a full time position. I enjoy being outside/going for walks, doing arts and crafts, reading books, playing games, and helping with homework if needed. I also have previously assisted families with doing the grocery shopping, laundry, pet care, and everyday clean up.
