It's a privilege to support adults and seniors in maintaining their well-being and independence. My passion stems from positive experiences in previous care roles and a personal understanding of family needs. I've often wished I could have done more for my grandmother, and my in-home care work allows me to provide the same level of care I would want for her. With three years of experience and a graduate degree, I bring patience, compassion, and professionalism to my work. I'm detail-oriented and skilled at adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion or agitation. I prioritize understanding each individual's preferences and history to build a strong connection. I communicate with families through written reports and verbal updates, always following their preferred method. I can assist with transportation, errands, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I also have current CPR and First Aid certifications.
