I was in the army for six years and I have disability from the VA. I do have a veterans ID card so that gives me access to Fort Riley. After the army, I worked for the government for 23 years. I wanted to be a teacher, but that required standing most of the day and I could not do that. I decided to become a caregiver. I've been doing that for over 11 years now. I have worked with families in the Ft Riley, Junction City, Manhattan, Ogden and Wamego areas. I also have worked with special needs children, such as nonverbal, ADHD, ADD, autism with different levels on the spectrum and also children who have been traumatized and have learning disabilities or emotional needs. I have provided care for children from newborn up to the age of 18. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, playing outside
