Hello My name is Pamela, I am a Licensed Practical Nurse. I love nursing and helping others. I monitor my patients to ensure their well being and safety. This includes reporting any changes in their mood, behavior, physical health, and home environment to family members. I also create daily written or verbal reports regarding their overall state of health and mind. I provide assistance with medical, personal and emotional needs. My assistance includes Transferring from bed to wheelchair and other types of transfers, bathing, preparing meals, dressing, mobility, providing companionship, mental exercises and games. I also provide respite and emotional care for the parents and other family members who are involved in the care. I can run errands, complete housekeeping, do laundry and prepare meals while the parents rest or complete other tasks. I can also provide a comforting shoulder for the parents to lean on whenever they begin to feel overwhelmed and stressed.
