Hi, my name is Pamela, I studied Child Development at Universidade Vale do Acarau and Portuguese and English at Universidade Federal do Ceara (in Brazil), I was a teacher for young kids and special needs there. I have +10 years of teaching experience and 16 years of experience taking care of kids, specialized in infants and toddlers. I was an Au Pair and got the CPR and first AID training and now I am looking for a full time. 

Also, I am fluent in Portuguese, English and have intermediate Spanish. 

I cook, I swim and I love all kind of animals.

Pam worked for our family for about 1.5 years. She is patient, kind, and creative. She taught our son a second language; some of his first words were in Portuguese! Most importantly, Pam loves our son and cares for him like he is her own. We remain good friends and try to see each other at least once a month. She has the highest recommendation from us; any family would be lucky to have her watch their child/children.

Pam is amazing and my 14 month old daughter loves her (as do we)! She is very thoughtful on how to care for and develop my daughter. For example my daughter knows how to sign now because of her. She plays with her, pays special attention to her needs, provides feedback to us on what she thinks can help my daughter get better, and is very loving. She is also very easy to work with. She speaks 3 languages to my daughter - English, Spanish and Portuguese. I highly recommend her!

Pamela took care of our daughter for nearly two years. She was an amazing caregiver. She brought so much joy to our daughter's life. She not only kept her very entertained through constant activities but she also taught her Portuguese which was amazing to see her develop an understanding of a new language. Pamela gives 110% when it comes to caring for children. She has so much energy and she's creative, kind and patient. One of the hardest parts about moving from San Diego was no longer having Pam in our lives on a daily basis. Anyone who hires her will be thrilled and you will see the value she adds through your child's happiness.

Pamela worked for us for this past summer while we were living in a temporary home in upstate New York along with another family. There were a combined total of four kids in the house. Pamela worked for us full time, and we also had a second part-time nanny. Important to note that 2 of the four children were special needs.
 
Pamela is a super star - she is patient, smart, thoughtful, engaging, fun, trustworthy, and safe. The kids loved her, and so did the parents and our other nanny. Pamela really understands kids and how to engage them. She played games, dressed up, put on shows, did arts and crafts, created lava lamps, made tie-dyed tee shirts, took the kids swimming, drove them to parks, and facilitated screen-free fun. She was great at setting boundaries, communicating clearly and patiently with the children in a firm but loving way. Pamela was 100% dependable and punctual. She was always on-time (if not early), and never missed a day of work. If our family was not relocating further upstate in NY, we would have loved if she could have stayed on with us full time for the foreseeable future. Pamela is an incredible asset - I very happily recommend her as an exceptionally well-qualified caregiver.

Pamela took really good care of our baby when we needed. She is very patient, attentive, has great energy and was always trying to find new ways to interact with him: with music, baby activities, books, etc. He was genuinely comfortable with her, which for me was super important. Happy to recommend her.

She is so funny and sweet! I got home earlier from my date night and saw her dancing and singing like a kid with my daughters, this moment I realized why they always ask for her to babysit and love her so much!

Pamela is absolutely outstanding. She is thoughtful, warm, kind, energetic, dependable, reliable, easy to work with, kind, and our kids loves her. She treats them like is her own. It is so hard to find someone great, and she is a needle in a haystack. Our kids loves spending the day with Pamela. She really engages with your little ones and loves her job.

Pamela is a very experienced sitter and super recommended. We had a awesome experience with her during the time she was with our family (almost a month) while our principal nanny was in vacations. My son just loved to be with her and I totally would do it again.
