Hello, my name is Pamela, and I am a certified caregiver (HHA, CNA, Dementia/Alzheimer's, CPR). I have experience supporting seniors and adults living with dementia/Alzheimer's, stroke, MS, and cerebral palsy. My approach is calm, patient, and safety-focused, with a strong focus on preserving each person's dignity and independence. I can help with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, mobility support and gentle exercises, medication reminders, companionship, errands, shopping, and safe transportation to appointments and outings (I drive a clean, reliable SUV). Families can expect reliable, on-time care, clear communication, and a kind, professional presence in their home.
Pam has been an incredible addition to the care team for my step-father and has also won over my mom, who was very resistant to letting someone come into their home to help out. After only two visits, my mom couldn't even remember that she hadn't wanted outside help! Pam is professional in all aspects of her approach, but is also incredibly personable and simply fun to be around. She has a great sense of humor, which I truly believe is essential when dealing with difficult situations. She does not hesitate to make recommendations, but is careful to respect and not overstep any boundaries. Pam brings a wealth of caregiving knowledge to the table and has already helped us make some adjustments that have improved the quality of our parents' daily lives. Although she was primarily hired to assist my step-father with his multiple serious health issues, she naturally and seamlessly also began supporting my mom with anything she needed. Pam has relieved a lot of the incredible stress and worry that my siblings and I have carried on our shoulders about how to provide a safe and healthy life for our aging parents who are in their late 80s and want to stay together in their home for as long as possible. I honestly could not recommend Pam more highly and feel so fortunate to have found her when we did!
