I am a reliable, loyal and trustworthy nanny who loves to focus on the best possible outcomes, through creative thinking and teaching, open mindedness and kindness. In addition to being an experienced nanny and mother I also have 6+ years of experience teaching K-12th grade ESL (English as a second language) English and Art courses in Thailand and South Korea. I have a wonderful, creative, smart and funny son who is in the 6th grade. When I'm at work he is either in school, hanging out with his grandparents, playing with our dogs and/or neighborhood friends. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
We were incredibly nervous about hiring a nanny, as I was returning to work when our daughter was just under 8 months old. At the time, she contact napped for every nap, was exclusively breastfed, refused bottles, and we followed a more baby-led, unstructured schedule. We weren’t sure how any of this would work with a nanny — but meeting Pamela immediately put us at ease. Pamela is nurturing, patient, attentive, and deeply respectful of parenting preferences. She was willing to contact nap with our daughter and thoughtfully work through bottle refusal. With patience and consistency, she helped my daughter begin taking bottles when needed, while also being completely supportive of bringing her to me to breastfeed as often as I preferred. She truly operated as a partner in caring for our daughter and supporting our family’s goals. As our daughter grew, Pamela actively supported her development by engaging her in age-appropriate activities, spending plenty of time outdoors, and creating an environment where she could thrive. It was clear that Pamela genuinely cared about her well-being and growth. Our daughter developed a secure attachment to Pam and lights up with excitement when she walks through the door — which says everything about the warmth and trust Pam brings into our home. Pamela possesses all of the tangible skills you hope for in a nanny, along with the intangible qualities that make her a truly special and invaluable member of our village. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had her care for our daughter and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family.
