About Pamela

In the year that she worked for us, Pamela demonstrated that she is a caring, competent and responsible caregiver. She carried out all the tasks that we asked of her, including getting our mom out of bed, getting her cleaned, bathed, dressed and fed; giving her her daily medications, taking and recording blood pressure, accompanying her to the bathroom and taking her for a walk outside. Pamela was always prompt and complied with all our requests. While these may not seem like difficult duties, they were challenging given our mom’s dementia and her reluctance to cooperate with requests. Most days she didn’t want to get out of bed. She was not interested in walking. Toward the end, she did not want to eat. It takes a special skill, temperament and training — plus a lot of patience and love — to do these seemingly simple tasks and to persuade patients to comply. Pamela succeeded where sometimes family members could not. I highly recommend her.
