About Palmer

I am newer to the Greenville area with my husband and 5-year-old daughter. I used my masters degree in education in the classroom, but where it helped me most was with my own child. I taught our daughter to read at 3 years old and strive to use my skills to further her education. Now, I'd love to show other parents how to do the same by starting with tutoring your child 1:1 and then providing parents the skills to continue the work seamlessly into your daily life. I have worked with both exceptionally bright children and children with developmental disabilities. After I finished my Master's program at Johns Hopkins University, became pregnant during COVID and a lot changed. I worked with a private school in NYC for 5 years tutoring, as a Nurse's assistant, and running an after school program. I taught Kindergarten and First grade in Memphis, TN. I was also an assistant teacher and Librarian for a private school in Montecito CA. I am newer to Greenville SC where we plan to settle.
