About Paige

I'd describe my personality as bright, caring, and curious. I like working with kids because they are always different. I value learning above most things in life, and I always learn something working with kids. I'm looking for a job that can fill in the gaps in my schedule. I started working with kids when I was 13 years old, and started babysitting in the neighborhood I grew up in. I spent 6 years working at summer camps, and this year I have begun working in ABA therapy. In my spare time, I like to make art, listen to music, play (or watch!) dungeons & dragons, and spend time with my friends. One thing you should know about me is that I am nonbinary & very open about it! My name is Fern, and I use they/them pronouns. I have spent many years talking about gender with young folks, and I know how to treat the topic with care for myself & the kids. My skills include joining imaginative play, emotional deescalation, and timeliness.
