About Owen

Hi! I'm Owen. I'm 20 years old and from Andover, Massachusetts. I am currently enrolled at SDSU. I will be home for the summer from the first week of May to the end of August. Prior to SDSU, I completed a gap year with City Year, AmeriCorps. I worked in a fifth grade classroom, supporting students in academics, social-emotional development, and English language learning. Through City Year, I also received training in first aid, mental health best practices, and active listening. While in high school, I volunteered at Ironstone Farm, where I supported horseback-riding therapy programs for children with disabilities: autism, down syndrome, and muscular dystrophy, etc. I love being outdoors and anything creative. I've been playing guitar since junior high and I've found music a great way to connect with people of all ages. I have my own car, and can make simple meals. I would love to get to know your child/children and serve as a strong role model and friend.
