About Owen

Hey there! I'm Owen, a 24-year-old musician living in Brooklyn. In September I'm thrilled to be starting a Master's in music production/songwriting at BerkleeNYC, but until then, I'm open and eager to help your kids enjoy their summer. I know how precious this free time can be, so I'd love to help make it a summer to remember. Originally from Philadelphia, I spent my summers teaching kids (5-13) how to sail on the Jersey shore. I was in charge of dozens of little sailors scattered across a bay as they tried to operate bathtub-sized boats, which I now call Xtreme Babysitting. I went to college at UCLA in California, and spent my summers as a counselor for 5-10-year-olds. Each week I'd get a new batch of kids, and I curated a fun schedule of activities to fill their days. As a babysitter, I'm all about staying active and being creative. I love sports and music, so running, dancing, singing, and writing songs are all in my wheelhouse. I hope to meet your family soon!
