About Oshyn

Hi! My name is Oshyn, pronounced like 'ocean.' I can't wait to get to know you and your family! I've been working in the care industry for 2 decades and love to nurture and help! I'm a certified teacher and have 10 years of classroom experience including teaching preschool, elementary, middle school & university. I have extensive professional and volunteer experience with youth, the elderly & special needs communities. I'm comfortable with big families as well, being a middle child of 5 myself. I started working with kids when I was a preteen! I babysat for families in my neighborhood all through middle and high school for families with 3-5 kids. I did student teaching in high school and then taught middle school after university. During my graduate degree I taught preschool as well! I also have expeience with newborn and toddlers from work at the YMCA & mountessori in Austin, TX.
