About Ophir

I hired Ophir twice in June 2025, and as of the time I'm writing this I have asked her to work the next two Friday afternoons as well. My 7-year-old son has some times during the summer when he does not have scheduled activites and needs a sitter. He can get uncomfortable around people he does not know well, so it was important for him to get to know the babysitter. We walked around a Park with Ophir, and they got along fine. I brought his little sister in a stroller during our walk too, and I especially appreciate Ophir trouble-shooting when I had difficulty collapsing the stroller to put it in my car at the end. She found the instructions on her phone right as I was calling a family member to ask how to close it. The next babysitting job was an excursion to the zoo. She accompanied my son for a walk and playground time there. She also handled my son's special lunch request (he is particular about chicken tenders and water with ice) and reminded my son to wash his hands. The only time my son had a hard time was when it was time to leave and he wanted to walk around with Ophir some more. I would recommend her to watch other kids, and when I need a babysitter again I will contact her too.
