About Opal

Hello! I'm a nurturing, creative caregiver with lifelong childcare experience, including caring for my 15 nieces and nephews of various ages, including twins. With a background in Art, Hospitality Management, and Business Management, I create safe, joyful environments where children can explore, learn, and build confidence. I love using music, art, drama, acting, storytelling, imaginative play, movement, outdoor walks, and field trips to encourage creativity, communication, emotional expression, and healthy development. I value nutritious meals, creative cooking, healthy routines, nap and quiet time, and age appropriate activities. Through Alphabet Education, I supported children with diverse developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs, including autism. I also served as a YMCA camp counselor in California. I'm available for daytime, evening, and overnight care. My goal is simple: to help every child feel safe, seen, supported, and inspired to grow.
