About Opal

To date, I've been built a side-businesses in dance, environmental education for limited access youth and a Professional Mermaid, with reconnecting kids with imaginative creativity and the environment in mind. I can promise to have Homework worked on and children outside or mentally engaged without a screen 90% of the time. I bring books to read, or learn to and colouring books for setting motor skills and creativity, so there aren't movies, if I can help it. I'm a retired CNA, with a BLA Caregiver's Healthcare and CPR certification, with both Red Cross and Starguard Lifeguarding Certificates(in renewal process). I can pick children up from school, if parent's are comfortable. I do not do Daycare in my own home. BITS TO KNOW: I grew up with a huge backyard, frequently taking walks through the wetlands and camping, developing a great appreciation of the little things in our environment from bugs to weather. Went to an Environmental Middle School and an Arts High School.
